STASH Account & Cloud Data Deletion

Official Account and Cloud Data Deletion Information & Request Portal

STASH is committed to user control over personal data. If you have created an account in the STASH application, you have the right to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud vault data at any time.

1. What Data Is Deleted

When an account deletion is executed, STASH permanently deletes:

Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once deleted, your synchronized vault items and account records cannot be recovered.

2. Deletion Pathways

Pathway 1: In-App Deletion (Instant & Recommended)

If you currently have the STASH app installed on your device, you can delete your account and cloud vault instantly:

  1. Open the STASH app;
  2. Navigate to the Library tab;
  3. Tap the Settings icon (gear in the top right);
  4. Under the Account section, tap Delete Account & Cloud Vault;
  5. Review the prompt and confirm deletion.

In-app deletion executes immediately: cloud documents and auth records are purged in real-time, and local scoped caches on your device are wiped.

Pathway 2: Web Deletion Request (Without Reinstalling the App)

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot access your device, you can request account and cloud vault deletion directly by email:

Identity Verification Requirement: To protect user security, deletion requests must be submitted directly from the exact Google email address associated with your STASH account. Requests from unverified addresses will require verification before processing.

Send Account Deletion Request Email

Or email: support@stashreel.app
Subject: STASH Account and Data Deletion Request
Include: Your registered Google email address and an explicit request for permanent deletion.

Processing Timeline: Requests submitted via email are verified and processed within 5 business days. A confirmation email is sent upon completion. Data is not marked deleted until the purge is successfully executed.

3. Local Device Data Retention

If you used STASH without signing in, no cloud data exists. To remove all local items and preferences, simply uninstall the app from your device or clear the application data through Android device settings (Settings → Apps → STASH → Storage & Cache → Clear Storage).

4. Additional Information
